Announcements

We want to welcome all our guests, brothers, and sisters for joining our Sunday service. Our vision is to be a “disciple-making church among our communities”. We invite you to join us as we progress toward this goal. We hope that ECF Holy Word will be the place to nurture your spiritual growth!

  1. last week's Combined Mission Sunday had 74 online viewing points. There were 26 attendees in the physical worship service, including speakers, pastors and ministry volunteers.

  2. The pastors will gather our church leaders from both the English and Chinese departments on the 25 Nov at 8pm via Zoom online platform. On that day, the pastors will share with the leaders their ministry plans and schedules for the year 2022. All leaders are asked to prepare their hearts to attend.

  3. Two brothers and sisters will be baptized during the church’s baptism celebration day on 5 Dec. They are Brother Matthew Zach Neo Jia Jun and Sister Lee Xin Tian. Please remember them in our prayers and ask the Lord to strengthen their faith.

  4. Our church annual Youth Camp is here! This year, Camp Ekballo, is on Missions, the third sequel to a 3-year camp series on Discipleship-Community-Missions, the 3 pillars of ECF’s vision. It will be held in decentralized locations from 19th to 22nd December. The camp format is subject to Covid 19-restrictions and any changes will be provided at a later date. More information on the camp can be found in the sign-up form. Sign up now @ bit.ly/ekballo2021. If you have any questions, feel free to approach Grace Gan (91181335) or Tan Jie Qi (81538412). See you there!

  5. The church has scheduled 26 Dec as Church Retreat (9.30 am-12 pm). The theme is “The Blessed Church”. We will follow Covid-19 measures on gathering and will make home gathering arrangements accordingly. Brothers and sisters who do not have access to the internet can come to church and participate in the event. You may register with your cell group leader starting from today onwards and the last day of registration is 5 Dec 2021.

  2. Pray for congregation prayer concerns:

(1)Thank Lord that after 18 bio-resonance therapy treatments, Rev Ruth Ho’s health had improved significantly. The rectal tumour had reduced from 3cm to 1cm, hydatid disease had reduced from 5cm to 2cm and the hydatid disease in blood vessels had reduced from 80 to 20. Thrombus (blood clot in the vascular system) had reduced more than 50% from the initial 90% level. The liver tumour had also shrunk. She will be starting another cycle of bio-resonance therapy (15 treatments). Rev Ruth Ho thank all brothers and sisters for the prayer and care. Please continue to pray for Rev Ruth Ho.
