We want to welcome all our guests, brothers, and sisters for joining our Sunday service. Our vision is to be a “disciple-making church among our communities”. We invite you to join us as we progress toward this goal. We hope that ECF Holy Word will be the place to nurture your spiritual growth!
Last week there were 63 on-line viewing points and 3 attendees in church for Chinese service. And for English service, there were 26 attendees in church (including speaker and those on duty) and 14 on-line viewing points.
This coming Sunday (5th Dec) is a baptism and communion service. Brother Matthew Zach Neo Jia Jun and Sister Lee Xin Tian will be baptized during the church’s baptism celebration. Please remember them in our prayers and ask the Lord to strengthen their faith.
This coming Thursday evening, 8pm will be our monthly combined prayer meeting via Zoom online conference. We will provide the details to the different pastoral zones on Wednesday. Please prepare your hearts as we come before God in prayer.
Our church annual Youth Camp is here! This year, Camp Ekballo, is on Missions, the third sequel to a 3-year camp series on Discipleship-Community-Missions, the 3 pillars of ECF’s vision. It will be held in decentralized locations from 19th to 22nd December. The camp format is subject to Covid 19-restrictions and any changes will be provided at a later date. The church has scheduled 26 Dec as Church Retreat (9.30am-12pm). The theme is “The Blessed Church”. We will follow Covid-19 measures on gathering and will make home gathering arrangements accordingly. Brothers and sisters who do not have access to internet can come to church and participate in the event. You may register with your cell group leader starting from today onwards and the last day of registration is 5 Dec 2021.
Prayer Pointers
Pray for COVID19 pandemic：
(1) According to the World Health Organization, as of 23 Nov, more than 7.5billion people worldwide have been vaccinated. Please pray for the entire vaccination process to go smoothly.
(2) Report by the Ministry of Health: As of 24 Nov, 1,365 people were still hospitalized, 203 required oxygen supplementation, 59 were critically ill in ICU. There were 2,079 new cases on 24 Nov, of whom 312 were elderly people over 60 years old. Please continue to remember this matter in your prayers.
Pray for congregation prayer concerns：
(1) Let us continue to keep Rev Ruth Ho in prayer. She has been experiencing abdominal pain which affects her sleep. Do pray for her 2nd cycle of bio-resonance therapy treatments, may God’s healing be shown on Rev Ruth Ho.
(2) Thank God that Sister Quek Sew Kiang had a successful operation on last Wednesday. She had transferred from ICU to normal ward for observation and treatment. Please continue to remember her in prayer.
(3) Let us continue to keep Brother Goh Wee Shin, Brother Tan Keng Khim, Sister Sam Kwai Leng and Mdm Huang (mother-in-law of Sister Serena Tan) in prayer.
