Our church's Annual General Meeting will be held today after the worship service. This meeting will be held both physically and online via Zoom and we encourage members to participate. This coming Thursday evening (8pm) is our monthly combined prayer meeting. It will be held via both physical (in church) and Zoom (online conference). We will provide the link to each pastoral zones on Wednesday. Please prepare your hearts as we come before God in prayer!
教会定于12月4日为今年第二次的洗礼庆典。凡已经稳定出席本会至少一年的弟兄姐妹，无论是洗礼或转会，欢迎你们向组长或牧者报名。
Our church has scheduled 4 December as our year 2022 second baptism and transfer of membership ceremony. Brothers and sisters who have been attending our church regularly for at least 1 year are welcome to sign up with your group leader or Pastor.
教会2023年的计划已经大致完成，目前已经进入财政预算的环节。请同工们召集你所属牧区或事工的委员，并于8月31日之前将你们的财政预算呈上。
Our church's plan for 2023 is almost complete and is now in the financial budgeting process. Please gather your pastoral zone or ministry core members to finalise and submit your financial budget by August 31.

Our church's Elderly Pastoral Zone has arranged a day trip to Muar (Malaysia) on Wednesday, November 2. Brothers and sisters who are interested can contact Rev Ng for more information. This coming Wednesday, there will be bible study at 10am as usual, please be on time!
Prayer Pointers | 祷告事项
从8月29日起，除了医疗保健设施和乘坐公共交通设施，政府取消室内戴口罩的规定，但建议年长者与免疫力较弱者在室内继续戴口罩。求主保守整个开放的过程，人民能继续保持谨慎的态度，好让疫情能够继续好转。
As of August 29, the government has lifted the requirement to wear masks indoors, except in health care facilities and on public transportation. We recommend that elderly and those with lower immune system to continue to wear masks indoors. Pray that the Lord will protect the opening up process and that the people will continue to be cautious so that the epidemic can be contained.

教会儿童部的五位孩子与一位老师，证实患上疫情。他们是巩益凯、何荣凯、 何荣昊、陆元熹与陆元昕及张佳恩老师。请在祷告中记念他们。居于安全理由，教会儿童部也暂停聚会一周。将会继续观察进展，若有需要，将会做调整。
Five children and one teacher from the church's Sunday School were tested positive for Covid. They are Gong Yi Kai, Lucas Ho, Matthew Ho, Natalie Lock, Oliver Lock and teacher Zhang Jia En. Please remember them in your prayers. For safety reasons, Sunday School has decided to break for a week. We will continue to monitor the progress and will make necessary adjustments as required.
