教会安排十月与十一月，分别开办英语与华语的新约概览课程。英语课程的讲师是史博安博士，日期是10月1，8，15，22，29（五堂）。华语课程的讲师是杨金兰老师，日期是11月5，12，19，26（四堂）。两个课程的时间都是周六早上10点至11.30，透过线上Zoom平台进行。弟兄姐妹可以即日起透过小组报名参加。
Our church has scheduled a New Testament overview course in English and Chinese for October and November respectively. The English course will be taught by Dr Andrew B. Spurgeon on October 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29 (five classes). The Chinese course will be taught by Mrs Lee-Yeung Kam Lan on November 5, 12, 19, 26 (4 classes). Both courses will be held on Saturdays from 10am to 11.30am via Zoom. Brothers and sisters can sign up through your cell group from today onwards.
教会定于12月4日为今年第二次的洗礼庆典。凡已经稳定出席本会至少一年的弟兄姐妹，无论是洗礼或转会，欢迎你们向组长或牧者报名。
Our church has scheduled 4 December as our year 2022 second baptism and transfer of membership ceremony. Brothers and sisters who have been attending our church regularly for at least 1 year are welcome to sign up with your group leader or Pastor.
教会2023年的计划与各牧区与事工的财政预算都已经呈上给教会财政。 接下来牧者将会进行第一轮的审阅与调整，完成后将会交给教会财政审批并执事理事与总理事通过接纳。计划在11月向会友汇报2023年的财政预算。
Our church's 2023 plan and the financial budgets for each pastoral zone and ministry have been submitted to the church treasurer. Pastoral team will do the first round of review and adjustment, and when completed, it will be submitted to the church treasurer for final review. Lastly it will be submitted to the Deacon Council and the General Council for approval and adoption. The 2023 budget is scheduled to be presented to the congregation in November 2022.
教会乐龄牧区安排11月2日（星期三）到马来西亚麻坡一日游。有兴趣的弟兄姐妹可以向黄牧师了解详情。来临星期三，早上10点将照常有乐龄查经班，敬请准时出席！
Our church's Elderly Pastoral Zone has arranged a day trip to Muar (Malaysia) on Wednesday, November 2. Brothers and sisters who are interested can contact Rev Ng for more information. This coming Wednesday, there will be bible study at 10am as usual, please be on time!
Prayer Pointers | 祷告事项
教会70与72号因为使用权的问题，以至教会聚会空间受到影响。总理事会已成立一个委员会去构思可行的方案。成员包括陈国彬执事、许燕俊执事、余汉伟执事、黄永生弟兄、梁淑洁姐妹及两位牧者。求主赐予整个团队智慧，并能够同心的找出可行的方案！
Based on the legal permitted usage of unit 70 and 72, our church’s use of space for gathering had been affected. General Council has formed a committee to work out a feasible plan. The members are Deacon Timothy Chen, Deacon Daniel Xu, Deacon Yu Hanwei, Brother Eric Ng, Sister Leong Shock Kait and two pastors. Pray that our Lord will bless the team with wisdom and unity in working together to find a workable solution!
自6月中旬大雨开始袭击巴基斯坦以来，估计有3300万人受到“数十年来最严重洪灾”的影响，目前已有1000多人死亡，其中大部分是儿童。请在祷告中记念，好让洪水能够早日舒缓，人民能够恢复日常的生活。
Since heavy rain began hitting Pakistan in mid-June, an estimated 33 million people have been affected by this "worst floods in decades" and more than 1,000 people have died, most of them are children. Please remember in your prayers that the flood will soon be subsided and the people will be able to resume their daily lives.
