The Power of The Word of God 神的话是充满能力

I remember fondly the paper stars on the attendance sheet when I was attending children Sunday school. Every star represents a thoughtful lesson from our Sunday school teachers. Whenever I recall the word of God, it feels like those paper stars pasted in my heart. I want to share two experiences in my life that witnessed the power of God’s words.
The first was in experiencing the peace of God. I had to go through a surgery many years ago and it was only before I was going into surgery that I suddenly felt this strange fear. It was in that moment, I remembered a verse from John 14:27, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” I immediately started praying, asking God to take away the fear in my heart. And indeed, I was not fearful after!
The second was experiencing that we love because God first loved us. In my workplace, I had a co-worker who frustrates me often. I was so mad at him! But the word of God came to me once more in Colossians 3:13, “Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.” If our father in heaven can forgive my sins, how could I not forgive an offending co-worker? Furthermore, in Romans 12:17-18 it says, “Do not repay anyone evil for evil……, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.”
In conclusion:
· If we have the word of God, we shall not stray from God’s path.
· If we have God’s love, we will have the strength to love the unlovable.
· If we have the peace of God, we can weather any storms.

我从小就到教会上主日学，印象中最深刻的就是那一颗颗在出席本上的纸星星；每一颗星就代表着老师细心的教导。回想起来上帝的话语就像那一颗颗的星星种在我心。
今天，要与大家分享生命中的两个经历，让我深深体会神话语的能力:
第一，那就是从上帝而来的平安。在许多年前我需要到医院做手术，在进手术室前，我突然有莫名的恐惧，就在那一个时刻，我记起圣经的一节经文，记载在约翰福音14:27，主耶稣说：「我留下平安给你们，我把自己的平安赐给你们；我给你们的，不像世界所给的。你们心里不要难过，也不要恐惧。」当下，我马上作了一个祷告，在祷告中我求神挪去我心中的恐惧，祷告后，我心中再也没有恐惧。
第二，我们爱是因为神先爱我们。我在公司，就曾遇到使人发狂的同事，在当下的确很生气，但圣经的教导却又再一次的浮现在我眼前。歌罗西书3:13说：「如果有人对别人有嫌隙，总要彼此宽容，互相饶恕；主怎样饶恕了你们，你们也要照样饶恕人。」我们的天父既然可以赦免我们的罪，难道我就不能原谅犯错的同事吗？而且罗马书12:17-18也说到：「不要以恶报恶……总要尽你们的所能与人和睦」。
总结:
--我们有神的话，就不偏离神的道路;
--我们有神的爱，就有能力去爱不可爱的人；
--我们有平安，就可以在风雨中迎风破浪。
