Welcome to ECF! We are a community of faithful disciples who journey together to worship God and serve the communities we touch. If you are new among us, we welcome you to journey together as you make the ECF Holy Word your family!
Brother Jeremy Foo and Sister Grace Gan is getting married this Saturday (1 Jun) at 10.15am. The couple joyfully invites the ECF family to attend their wedding at Lighthouse Evangelism, Tampines (1 Tampines Street 82, S528985). For those taking the charter bus to and from the wedding location and ECF, please take note of the departure times: from ECF at 9.15am, from Lighthouse at 1.15pm.
We will be going to invite our Joo Seng community to our 2024 Alpha run on 2 Jun (2pm-4pm). Please sign up with deacon Timothy if you are interested to join us to invite our neighbours.
The church is organizing a silent retreat on 16 Jun (5pm-10pm), do reserve your time to join in.
Our churchwide planning retreat for 2025 church year is happening on 8 Aug (9am-5pm) and 24 Aug (9am-12pm). Pastoral and matrix ministry leaders are reminded to reserve their time to attend. As 8 Aug is working day, please arrange your work schedule and take leave for this retreat early to ensure minimal disruption.
Alpha season is coming! Let’s start to invite our family and friends for Alpha introduction dinner on 22 June! There will be a training session on 25 May (9am-12pm – Physical) for Alpha facilitators and helpers too. If you are interested to play a more active role in Alpha this year, please inform your cell group leader about it.
The elderly bible study will be held this Wednesday at 10am. Rev Ng will lead the class on the book of Joshua – Living in Canaan.
Prayer Requests
We give thanks to God for His abundant grace and guidance in making this Family Day luncheon a success. There are altogether 320 participants including 120 new friends from NRCS and from the friends & family of our members. May the relationship flourish as we bring gospel blessings into their lives.
The Alpha season is coming and there will be many events happening in preparation for the Alpha season. Let’s pray for wisdom and strength as the Alpha committee plans and execute Alpha this year. We also pray that the hearts of our family and friends whom we are inviting to Alpha be open to accept our invitation.
