Announcements
We want to welcome all our guests, brothers, and sisters for joining our Sunday service. Our vision is to be a “disciple-making church among our communities” and there are 3 missions “Discipleship, Community, Missions”. We invite you to join us as we progress toward this goal. We hope that ECF Holy Word will be the place to nurture your spiritual growth!
Coming December 4 will be our church’s second baptism for this year. Five brothers and sisters will be baptized on that day, they are Brother Gregory Tan, Brother Russell Siew Kaiyi, Brother Teo Jia Chen, Sister Teo Jia En and Sister Anatasia Tan Wei Nee. We also have two membership transfers, they are Brother Teo Chin Teng and Sister Koh Wee Ching. Please remember them in your prayers.
The Chinese New Testament Overview course will proceed into fourth lesson on coming Saturday. The lessons are taught by Mrs Lee-Yeung Kam Lan from November 5, 12, 19, 26 (4 classes). This course will be held on Saturdays from 10am to 11.30am via Zoom. Brothers and sisters who have signed up please login on time!
Our church will co-host a community Christmas party with Joo Seng Residents Committee on December 18. There will be lucky dips that night, so some gifts are needed for the gift giving. Brothers and sisters who have items that are new at home are welcome to bring them to the church. We will select and wrap the suitable gifts and use them as gifts for the lucky dips!
ECF Sunday School Camp will be held on 2 Dec 2022 (Friday), 9am-5pm at #74! Children between the ages of 4 and 11 are welcome to attend and do invite friends too! We would need some helpers for this camp. For more information and registration, please contact Teacher Estee (91125164).
This coming Wednesday elderly bible study will be held at 10am. Rev Ng will lead the class in continuation of Genesis, so be on time!
Prayer Pointers
Our neighboring country, Malaysia, had held its general election yesterday. Please continue to pray for the political stability in Malaysia. With political stability in the country, the people will have a better life!
Congregation prayer concerns:
Please remember Sister Lee Kim Buay in your prayers. She has been feeling very tired and lethargic lately. She is currently in the hospital receiving treatment.
Let us continue to keep Brother Tan Keng Khim, Brother Chan Li Wen, Sister Sam Kwai Leng and Sister Ling Ie Cheng in prayer.
