Announcements
We want to welcome all our guests, brothers and sisters for joining our Sunday service. Our vision is to be a “disciple-making church among our communities” and there are 3 missions “Discipleship, Community, Missions”. We invite you to join us as we progress toward this goal. We hope that ECF Holy Word will be the place to nurture your spiritual growth!
The church will delay its Annual General Meeting(AGM), which was initially scheduled for coming Sunday(June 25). This is because the audit report for the church's 2022 financial year is still in progress. Please note that it will still be a combined service on that day!
The church's Retreat at the Grand Paragon Hotel in Johor Bahru, Malaysia will end tomorrow. Pray that all brothers and sisters will accomplish the mission God has entrusted to us with one accord. Please also pray for a smooth return journey for our brothers and sisters!
Church pastors will call pastoral leaders and cell leaders (except for JPZ) for a meeting on June 28. The main purpose is to share matters related to the pastoral care of the church, which will take place at 8 pm in Church #70. Please be on time!
Thanks to the Lord's grace, Brother Niam Xing Rong and Brother Daniel Xu have been accepted by Singapore Bible College. They will officially begin their classes in July. Brother Xing Rong will be enrolled in the two-year full-time " Master of Arts in Intercultural Studies" program, and Brother Daniel will be enrolled in the two-year part-time " Graduate Diploma in Counselling" program. Please remember their studies in your prayers.
Elderly bible study will be held on Wednesday at 10 am. Please join us!
Prayer Pointers
According to United Nations, the number of people displaced by war, persecution, violence and human rights violations has reached an all-time high of 110 million. Let us come before the Creator and cry out for the Lord's powerful intervention so that the problems of these refugees can be brought to the attention of nations and the basic needs of people can be addressed!
Congregation prayer concerns:
Brother Tan Keng Khim went to Singapore General Hospital last Monday for liver surgery. He is currently recuperating at home, please remember him in your prayers!
Let us continue to keep Brother Wong Teh Kok, Sister Sam Kwai Leng, Sister Wan Geok Hong and Sister Koh Wee Ching in prayer .
