Announcements
We want to welcome all our guests, brothers and sisters for joining our Sunday service. Our vision is to be a “disciple-making church among our communities” and there are 3 missions “Discipleship, Community, Missions”. We invite you to join us as we progress toward this goal. We hope that ECF Holy Word will be the place to nurture your spiritual growth!
Coming Dec 24 (Baptism Service), there will be ten brothers and sisters baptising and membership transfer. The baptismal candidates are Brother Tan Wen Chen, Brother Zachary Ibrahim, Brother Malcolm Liew Jia En, Sister Ng Geak Inn, Sister Kok Yuling. Membership transfer candidates are Brother Yang Lee Fook, Sister Mao Yiling, Sister Teng Kee Nieng, Sister Eileen Seah, Sister Angeline Chua. Please remember them in your prayers.
The church will be carolling in Joo Seng community this coming Sunday on December 24 at 7.30pm. All brothers and sisters who are participating please be in church at 6pm on the day. We encourage participants to wear “Christmasy” coloured clothes.
Brother Wong Heng Soo’s son Wong Kay Yin is getting married this Saturday. It will be held as a simple family only ceremony. Let’s join the church in blessing the family.
The church will hold a combined Year-End Thanksgiving Service on December 31 (Sunday). The handover of the Senior Pastor baton and the installation of the new term General Council and Deacon Council members will also be held on that day. This is a day of celebration and thanksgiving, let us come together to Him and offer our thanksgiving to the Lord who loves us!
The church will have the following gatherings during the Christmas period

⑵ 24/12（11.30am）洗礼庆典 Baptism Service
⑶ 24/12（7.30pm）裕盛社区报佳音 Carolling in Joo Seng Community
Children Sunday School is organising "Christmas @ Sunday School" on 24th Dec (Sunday 9.30am to 11.30am). We welcome all children to attend, and you may reach out to Children Ministry teachers for more info.
Elderly bible study will be held on Wednesday at 10am. Please join us!
Prayer Request
Because of greed and sin, many are afflicted by suffering and pain. As we celebrate the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ, let us not forget to pray for world peace. May the shalom peace of our Lord Jesus be upon all mankind.

⑴ A few weeks ago, Sister Chong Ah Moi had a fall at home and broke her left ankle. She is currently undergoing treatment and recuperation at Singapore General Hospital. Please remember her in your prayers!
⑵ Let us continue to keep Brother Wong Teh Kok, Brother Tan Keng Khim, Brother Chong Mook Sang, Brother Tan How Boon, Brother Steven Lim Heok Theu and Sister Koh Wee Ching in prayer.
