We want to welcome all our guests, brothers and sisters for joining our Sunday service. Our vision is to be a “disciple-making church among our communities” and there are 3 missions “Discipleship, Community, Missions”. We invite you to join us as we progress toward this goal. We hope that ECF Holy Word will be the place to nurture your spiritual growth!
The second training session for cell leaders will be held on Wednesday (15 Feb) 8pm at church. Counselor from Fei Yue Family Service Centre will lead a practice session on " Active Listening and Questioning Techniques". This session is specially arranged for cell leaders, please make arrangement to attend!
An earthquake with a magnitude of 7.8 struck southern Turkey near the Syrian border in the early hours of Monday. The earthquake caused very serious loss of life and material damage. We are appealing to our brothers and sisters to participate in this fundraising effort. Brothers and sisters can send your donations directly to the humanitarian organizations (Red Cross, UNICEF, etc.) via online transfer. For those who are unable to make the online transfer, you can submit your donation in cash to the church Finance (no receipts will be issued) and the church will transfer the total cash donation to the relevant humanitarian organizations.
The church pastors have scheduled two special prayer meetings solely for the Canaan Project! The first prayer meeting will be open only to the General Council and Deacon Council on March 4 (9am). The second prayer meeting will be open to brothers and sisters on March 11 (9am). Both prayer meetings will be held physically at the church.
Our church has scheduled April 9 (Easter Sunday) as our first baptism and membership transfer ceremony for the year. All brothers and sisters who have been attending our church regularly for at least one year are welcome to sign up for baptism or transfer with your group leader or pastor.

Our church has scheduled a training session on 25 Feb (Sat) from 10am to 11.30am on Zoom. The topic is “Bridging Communities - Reaching out into our Communities for Christ”. It will be held in both English and Chinese, separately through 2 different Zoom platforms. Brothers and sisters who are interested can register with your cell group today!
Elderly bible study will be held on Wednesday at 10am. Please join us!
Prayer Pointers
An earthquake with a magnitude of 7.8 struck southern Turkey near the Syrian border in the early hours of Monday. So far, more than 10,000 people have been killed. As snow and rain continue to fall, the rescue operation is difficult and many victims are sleeping in the cold in the disaster zone. Please remember them in your prayers!
Brother Tan Keng Khim was admitted to Singapore General Hospital with gallbladder inflammation. He is still undergoing treatment and recuperation. Please remember him in your prayers!
Let us continue to keep, Brother Chan Li Wen, Sister Sam Kwai Leng and Sister Ng Moh Tuck in prayer.
