We want to welcome all our guests, brothers and sisters for joining our Sunday service. Our vision is to be a “disciple-making church among our communities” and there are 3 missions “Discipleship, Community, Missions”. We invite you to join us as we progress toward this goal. We hope that ECF Holy Word will be the place to nurture your spiritual growth!
Our church has scheduled two cell group leader training sessions in February from 8pm to 10pm. The first session will be held on 8 Feb via Zoom with Rev Andrew Xu speaking on "Biblical Counselling Fundamentals" and a counselor from Fei Yue speaking on "Active Listening and Questioning Techniques". The second session will be held physically in Church on 15 Feb with the Counsellor from Fei Yue leading us on applying "Active Listening and Questioning Techniques". These sessions are specially arranged for cell group leaders, please attend!
Our church has scheduled a training session on Feb 25(Saturday) from 10am to 11.30am via Zoom. The topic is "Bridging Communities - Reaching Out into our Communities for Christ”. The training session will be held in both English and Chinese separately through two Zoom platforms. Brothers and sisters can sign up through your cell group from today onwards!

16/6 - 19/6 Church Retreat (Grand Paragon Hotel JB）
Our church has scheduled April 9 (Easter Sunday) as our first baptism and membership transfer ceremony for the year. All brothers and sisters who have been attending our church regularly for at least one year are welcome to sign up for baptism or transfer with your group leader or pastor.
Elderly bible study will be held on Wednesday at 10am. Please join us!
Prayer Pointers
Church leaders are actively searching for a suitable location for the congregation to use. The leaders are currently evaluating a possible location and are consulting with an attorney for advice and help in understanding the feasibility of using this location. Please pray for wisdom from God for the pastors and leaders in this matter, so that they may know clearly where God is leading them!
Sister Joelynn's mom (brother Stanley's mom-in-law) Mdm Hoo Siew Khing went home to be with the Lord last Friday. The wake is at The Chapel @ Garden of Remembrance (920 Old Choa Chu Kang Road, Singapore 699815).
They will be there today and there is a wake service tonight at 8 pm. Let’s continue to pray for sister Joelynn and the family.
Brother Tan Keng Khim was admitted to Singapore General Hospital with gallbladder inflammation. He is still undergoing treatment and recuperation. Please remember him in your prayers!
Let us continue to keep Brother Tan Keng Khim, Sister Sam Kwai Leng, and Sister Ng Moh Tuck in prayer.
