Last week's Combined Baptism Sunday had 75 online viewing points. There were 36 attendees in the physical worship service, including speakers, pastors and ministry volunteers.
Our church annual Youth Camp is here! This year, Camp Ekballo is on Missions, the third sequel to a 3-year camp series on Discipleship-Community-Missions, the 3 pillars of ECF’s vision. It will be held in decentralized locations from 19th to 22nd December. The camp format is subject to Covid 19-restrictions and any changes will be provided at a later date. Deacon Council meeting will be held on this Wednesday at 8 pm via Zoom. Deacons are invited to attend on time!
The church has scheduled 26 Dec as Church Retreat (9.30 am-12 pm). The theme is “The Blessed Church”. We will follow Covid-19 measures on gathering and will make home gathering arrangements accordingly. Brothers and sisters who do not have access to the internet can come to church and participate in the event.
This coming Sunday(19 Dec 7.30 pm to 9.30 pm) is the online Christmas celebration co-hosted by Potong Pasir CCC and NRCS(Blk 8). We will send the YouTube live broadcast link to everyone. Do reserve your time and participate with your family members.
Prayer Pointers
Pray for COVID19 pandemic：
(1)According to the World Health Organization, as of 5 Dec, more than 7.9billion people worldwide have been vaccinated. Please pray for the entire vaccination process to go smoothly.
(2) Recently the new Omicron variant had started to spread globally. According to MOH announcement, 1st local transmission case had been confirmed. She is an airport staff, pray for God’s healing on her. Please pray that the person in charge will have the wisdom to manage and trace the close contacts of confirmed case patient.
Pray for congregation prayer concerns：
(1) Let us continue to keep Rev Ruth Ho in prayer. These 2 weeks she has been experiencing abdominal pain which affects her sleep, appetite and well being. Pray to our God for mercy and healing on Rev Ruth, so that she could recover quickly on her health, well being, strength and appetite.
(2) Let us continue to keep, Brother Goh Wee Shin, Brother Tan Keng Khim, Sister Sam Kwai Leng, Sister Quek Sew Kiang.
