Announcements

We want to welcome all our guests, brothers, and sisters for joining our Sunday service. Our vision is to be a “disciple-making church among our communities”. We invite you to join us as we progress toward this goal. We hope that ECF Holy Word will be the place to nurture your spiritual growth!

  1. From this week onwards, the pastoral team will call for fortnightly bible study, sharing, and prayers with church leaders and cell group leaders. This will be conducted in 3 groups which will be led separately by Sister Mulan (Monday 8 pm), Rev Ng, and Pastor Andrew (Thursday 8pm in 2 groups). The course will be conducted via Zoom, all co-workers please attend with your respective group.

  2. From this Sunday onwards, we will resume physical Sunday Services, which include Children Sunday School, English, and Chinese services. As our worship hall could only hold 80pax, our Chinese service attendance will be arranged as follow: Priority will be given to elderlies who had not been able to do online service, parents with children in Sunday School, and one of the Chinese service pastoral zone (on rotation which will be arranged by Rev Ng). The remaining seats will be opened for all other pastoral zones via registration. For the English service, there’s no restriction, and registration is not required. All participants must complete at least 2 doses of vaccination. Online service will continue for brothers and sisters who are not able to attend physical service at church.

  3. Our church will be holding EGM on 23 Jan at 2 pm. The main agenda is to present and obtain members’ approval for the Year 2022 Finance Budget. The EGM will be conducted via Zoom and all members of the church are requested to be punctual in attending.

  4. For brothers and sisters who would like to give tithing and thanksgiving offering physically in church, please note that Church finance would only be available on every 1st and 4th Sunday, 10.45 am to 11.15 am at #70 MPH. We encourage brothers and sisters to give via internet banking or PayNow to our church account.

Prayer Pointers

  1. Please pray for the unity and wisdom of our co-workers in managing the church. Namely, Rev Ng and Pastor Andrew in pastoring, Sister Oh Siew Cheng as Admin Manager, Sister Kathleen Lee as Pastoral Admin, and Sister Hsu Lily as part-time Admin.

  2. As the spreading of the Omicron virus is fast, please pray for God’s intervention and bless the countries leaders and healthcare workers with wisdom in managing and controlling the spread of the virus.

  3. Pray for congregation prayer concerns:

    1. Please continue to pray for Rev Ruth Ho. Currently, she needs a pain killer to relieve her pain on a daily basis. In the next few days, the doctor will be visiting her to assess her condition. Pray that our God protects their daughter and granddaughter (Keryn) in arriving in Singapore safely.

    2. Ms. Serene Sim, the mother of Brother Russell Siew, has been admitted into SGH since 20th December last year for Stage 4 Lymphoma in her brain. She is currently undergoing chemotherapy and remains to be in good spirits while eating well. Please remember in your prayers!

    3. Let us continue to keep Brother Goh Wee Shin, Brother Tan Keng Khim, Sister Sam Kwai Leng, and Sister Tan Num Kew in prayer.
