Announcements
We want to welcome all our guests, brothers and sisters for joining our Sunday service. Our vision is to be a “disciple-making church among our communities” and there are 3 missions “Discipleship, Community, Missions”. We invite you to join us as we progress toward this goal. We hope that ECF Holy Word will be the place to nurture your spiritual growth!
Our church will be having a half-day church retreat on Friday, June 17. The theme of the retreat is “It is time”. The location is at Imperial Restaurant @ FourPoints Hotel (Havelock) from 10.30 am to 2.30 pm. This is the first time since the outbreak that the church has arranged such a combine event. We hope all brothers and sisters can participate as a family. The fee is $15 for adults, $10 for all ages (60 and up), students and children. Today is the last day of registration, if you have not yet register, please proceed to counter in No.72 for registration and payment.
Children's ministry has started using Quartz from last Sunday onwards. Children's service will start at 9.30am sharp. Parents are reminded to arrive early before 9.15am to avoid disruption.
May’s leadership trainings are scheduled as follows: Rev Ng’s class on 23 June, Ps Andrew's class on 28 June and Sister Kathleen's class will be delayed till July due to Youth Alpha Camp in June. Training will be conducted via Zoom. Please take note!
Our Church's Youth Ministry Joseph Pastoral zone will be holding Youth Alpha Camp in church from June 20-22 (Monday to Wednesday). Interested participants please approach Mentor Grace Gan or Mentor Ben Quek for more information.
We have elderly Bible study on this coming Wednesday at 10a.m. Please be on time!
Prayer Pointers
Church pastors and leaders will begin planning for the church's 2023 ministry in near future. Please pray that the Holy Spirit will guide them all to have a listening and waiting heart, so that they can be more aware and clear of God's guidance in the church.
Intercession for Congregation :
Sister Sam Kwai Leng has been staying at Lee Ah Mooi Old Age Home for quite a long time. She was admitted to hospital last Wednesday for treatment because she had vomited a lot. Please remember her in your prayers.
Let us continue to keep Brother Tan Keng Khim and Sister Tan Num Kew in prayer.
