Announcements

We want to welcome all our guests, brothers and sisters for joining our Sunday service. Our vision is to be a “disciple-making church among our communities” and there are 3 missions “Discipleship, Community, Missions”. We invite you to join us as we progress toward this goal. We hope that ECF Holy Word will be the place to nurture your spiritual growth!

1. Pastor Xiong Enju from Lashio, Myanmar will share with us his mission work with the Dai people in Lashio after today’s Sunday Service at 11.30am during the cell group time, brothers and sisters are welcome to participate!

2. This coming Thursday evening (8pm) is our church's July combined prayer meeting. It will take place in #74 Service Hall. Please prepare your hearts and come together to pray before God!

3. The Deacon Council meeting will be held on the coming Tuesday at 8pm in church physically. Please be on time!

4. The church's Alpha program will begin in July (10 weeks), please invite your non-believer friends to participate. The schedule for the four groups are as follow:

   (1) Adult group (one group each in Chinese and English), Sunday afternoons 2pm-4pm, class starts on July 16

   (2) Youth group (15-22 years old), Saturday 5pm-6.30pm, class starts on July 1, with dinner reception

   (3) Youth group (13-14 years old), Sunday 9.30am-11am, class starts on July 2, with breakfast reception.

   The location is at the church. Adults should sign up with their individual group leaders. For youth, please sign up through the following link: https://bit.ly/AlphaWeeklySessions. If you have any questions, please reach out to your pastor or cell group leader.

5. A two-day planning meeting is scheduled for July 4 and 5 for the church's pastoral staff. The main focus is to conceptualize the outline of the next five years of ministry and the details of the ministry in 2024.

6. Please note that there will be no Bible study on Wednesday because Rev Ng has a Pastoral Planning meeting!!

   Prayer Pointers

1. Please pray for the Planning Meetings for pastors and co-workers on coming Tuesday and Wednesday. Pray that the Holy Spirit would guide them to be clear about God's leading. Pray especially for Rev Andrew that he will have clear guidance from God and be able to lead the church to move toward the goals God has set for us! 

2. Congregation prayer concerns：

   1. Let us continue to keep Brother Wong Teh Kok, Brother Tan Keng Khim, Sister Sam Kwai Leng, Sister Wan Geok Hong and Sister Koh Wee Ching in prayer.
