Announcements
We want to welcome all our guests, brothers, and sisters for joining our Sunday service. Our vision is to be a “disciple-making church among our communities”. We invite you to join us as we progress toward this goal. We hope that ECF Holy Word will be the place to nurture your spiritual growth!
We will be holding EGM on this coming Sunday 23 Jan 2pm. The main agenda is to present and obtain members’ approval for Year 2022 Finance Budget. The EGM will be conducted via Zoom and all members of church are requested to be punctual in attending!
Recently we received a call from Rev Low Seng Huat, our church supported missionaries through CCM, hoping that we could support missionaries Apichat and Meisa from Maeklang. Our General Council accepted Rev Ng’s proposal to support them for 1 year (S$5,400). As this is not budgeted, we will be raising funds through the church’s Charity Fund where brothers and sisters can participate in giving. Please indicate “Charity Fund” when you give via internet, PayNow or hand it to church’s Finance before 30 Jan. Thank you!
For brothers and sisters who would like to give tithing and thanksgiving offering physically in church, please note that Church finance would only be available on every 1st and 4th Sunday, 10.45 am to 11.15 am at #70 MPH. We encourage brothers and sisters to give via internet banking or PayNow to our church account.
Prayer Pointers
Due to the URA restrictions in using 70 and 72, we are facing a lack of space, especially for Children Sunday School. Please pray for church leaders in search of renting a place for Children Sunday School and activities.
The flow of human traffic will surge with CNY approaching, please pray for all local residents to be more cautious and well protected when heading out. Hope that the spreading of the Omicron virus can be more contained.
Pray for congregation prayer concerns：
Let us continue to pray for Rev Ruth Ho. We give thanks that her daughter and granddaughter had arrived safely in Singapore. Please pray that the pain killers work on her and that she will not have to rely on medicine for her bowel movements. The doctor will be visiting her on Monday and we hope that she could delay admission till after CNY.
Let us continue to keep, Brother Goh Wee Shin, Brother Tan Keng Khim, Sister Sam Kwai Leng and Sister Tan Num Kew.
