Plans For Gradual Resumption Of On-Site Services 逐步恢复实体崇拜计划 - 28th June 2020
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
Singapore enters Phase 2 of safe transitioning; we give thanks to God that the government is allowing churches to resume congregational service under 50 pax from 26th June onwards under strict guidelines. Our COVID response team led by Deacon Kang Hao has studied the guidelines and has planned out our re-opening progressively in various phases, making sure we are ready and in compliance for the safety of our members.
Generally, we plan to resume on-site services in 3 distinct stages. Here are some of the key features in each stage.
Stage 1 (28th June onwards)
- Most of our church will still only attend Sunday service through our online streaming
- On-site service will only involve the elderly in our church who do not have access to our online stream and a handful of others.
- On-site service will be strictly be by invitation only.
- No ‘live’ singing allowed during on-site service
Stage 2
- Resumption of Children Sunday School
- Parents with kids in Sunday School will be encouraged to attend the on-site service.
- Non-congregational activities such as small group meetings and bible study will be allowed on-site in groups no bigger than 6 persons.
Stage 3
- Resumption of onsite English and Chinese service in staggered timings.
- Most of our members will be attending Sunday service on-site at various timings.
- Online streaming of service will still be available for members who are unable to make it to the on-site service.
We have decided not to put a firm timeline on when we move from stage to stage and our plans are also subjected to changes in response to the latest updates on the ground. Our leaders are observing the community transmission rates and evaluate our responses and processes and decide if we have the confidence to move on the next phase accordingly. We will gradually improve our processes, making sure our plans and processes are sound and in compliance.
Let us continue to pray for wisdom in this reopening process and remember that the ministry of Christ continues even as our routine is disrupted.

弟兄姐妹们平安，
新加坡进入第二阶段解封期，我们感谢上帝恩典，我国政府允许在6月26日起，教会可以举行少于·50人以下的会众集体崇拜。康豪执事带领的工作小组遵從政府的指引， 计划了3个逐步开张阶段。以下是3个阶段的主要特点。
第一期
- 大多数的会友将依然参与线上的崇拜。
- 实体的崇拜的参与将优先考虑没有办法上线的会友。
- 所以实体聚会的参与都需要收到邀请或预约参能出席。
- 所以实体聚会都一律不能唱歌。
第二期
- 儿童主日学将恢复。
- 鼓励有孩童在儿童主日学的父母参与实体的崇拜。
- 不超过6人的查经班或小组类的活动允许在教会进行。
第三期
- 中文和英文崇拜将在不同时段恢复进行。
- 大多数的会友将可以在不同时段参与在实体的崇拜。
- 不能出席的会友可以继续参与崇拜的线上直播。
我们决定不定下阶段的时间表。我们的计划也会因疫情的的最新动态而有所变化。领袖们在密切的关注社区传播的近况和我们对于所定下的防疫过程的把握来决定是否进入下一个阶段。工作小组将逐步改善我们的流程，确保我们的计划和流程合理且合规。
让我们继续为疫情和解封的计划来祷告。谨记着即使社会和生活的节奏被疫情打乱，福音的事工依然继续着。
