TO DIE AND RISE AGAIN WITH CHRIST 与基督同死同复活

“If we have died with him, we will also live with him”
Jesus Christ died on the cross for the world, but that was not the end of His life! Because Jesus ultimately overcame death and was resurrected to life! His resurrection brought to all who believe in Him:
1) A Brand-New Life
A resurrected life is a “brand-new life”. It is one that no longer chases after temporal things of this world but those with an eternal value. And though we continue to live on this earth after receiving Christ, what we pursue now is more than our life here – it is a life that has an eternal value, one that surpasses the materials gain on this earth.
2) A Victorious Life
A resurrected life is also a “victorious life”. When Christ rose from the dead, He defeated the devil who held power over death. Sin and death lost their grip on believers who have the resurrected life in them because Christ overcame them when He died and rose again. And all believers who have the resurrected life of Christ must live a life of hope by faith to become a testimony for our God and bring glory to Him.
3) A Life of Hope
A resurrected life is also a “life of hope”. The Bible says, “whoever believes has eternal life” (John 6:47), and there is only death for those without Christ. We have hope when we have eternal life. This hope shall become our strength for growth, giving our life on earth a clear and concrete purpose.
Today is the baptism of Brother Liang Jia Jun and Sister Li Xin Tian. We pray for the resurrected Lord to breathe upon them a “brand-new”, “victorious” and “hopeful” life, so that they may from today onwards, live a life different from before!

“我们若与基督同死，就必与祂同活！”
耶稣基督为我们世人而死在十字架，但这不是祂生命的终结！因为耶稣最终胜过死亡，且从死里复活！祂的复活，带给所有信靠祂的人：
⑴ 全新的生命
复活的生命乃是“全新的生命”。这“全新的生命”所追求的不再是短暂的今生，而是那拥有永恒价值的生命。纵然我们信靠祂之后，仍旧活在这世上，但我们所追求的已不只是今生的生活，更是那有永恒的价值、且超越物质的生命。
⑵ 得胜的生命
复活的生命也是“得胜的生命”。耶稣因着“复活”，胜过那掌死权的恶魔。罪恶与死亡对已经拥有复活生命的基督徒没有任何权势，因为这一切都被基督的复活所征服与治死。凡有基督复活生命的信徒，都必须以信心过得胜的生活，借此见证荣耀我们的神。
⑶ 盼望的生命
复活的生命也是“盼望的生命”。圣经告诉我们信的人有“永生”（约六47），没有基督就只有灭亡！当我们有了“永恒”的生命，我们就有了盼望。这盼望将成为我们成长的动力，也让我们在世上的生活有了具体明确的目标。
今天是梁嘉俊弟兄与李鑫湉姐妹的洗礼，祈求那复活的主，把一个“全新”、“得胜”与“盼望”的生命注入他们的生命中，好让他们从今以后，活出不再一样的人生！
