Blessings in Simplicity 简单就是蒙福

“And have mercy on those who doubt;”
In 1988, I received Christ and was baptised. Yet it was only after many years that I realise, life can be lived simply. How do I begin? Where lifestyle is concerned, it suffices to be comfortable; in terms of food, let it be nutritious and healthy. When it comes to physical mobility, it is good to be able to move freely and with ease; and for the mind, it is a blessing to have calm and peace.
It turns out that simplicity is a blessing. Recently, I shared with someone close to me about Christ, and it was during that conversation that I found out the many questions he has about Jesus. It prompted him to delve deep into the Bible. That should have been something worth rejoicing over, unfortunately, it propelled him into another level of doubt.
The Bible says “And have mercy on those who doubt;” (Jude 1:22). During my sharing with this person, I told him that I am a simple person by nature, who only hopes to have Jesus as my role model in the way I live my life. Jesus is the goal of my imitation, the direction of my life, the reason that I live.
Dear brothers and sisters, may we all be able to move towards our goal through church life and mutual encouragement. I am very thankful because of the unwavering care shown by our brothers and sisters; I am thankful for the pastoral care by our pastors; I am thankful for Jesus who prays for us unceasingly, watching over us and sending fellow believers from different churches to care for us. Let all praise and glory be unto Jesus Christ, amen.

“有些人存疑心，你们要怜悯他们”
我在1988年信主和受洗。自问信主这么多年以后，才领悟到原来做人可以是很简单。该从如何说起呢？在生活方面：住的舒服自在；吃的方面：营养健康；行的方面：行动自由；心理方面：沉淀安然。
原来简单就是幸福。最近与身边的人分享得知他对耶稣有那么多的疑问，并且他也深入的探讨圣经。本应该为他有这样的举动而开心，但他确因此进入了另一层面的疑惑。
圣经说“有些人存疑心，你们要怜悯他们”(犹太书1:22)。我在与他沟通与分享中，回应他说，我的人比较简单，只希望把耶稣当成我学习做人的榜样。耶稣是我的效法的目标，人生的方向，活着的目的。
亲爱的弟兄姐妹们，但愿我们能够靠着教会生活、肢体彼此的鼓励，并向着我们的目的地前进。我非常感恩，因有弟兄姐妹对我们的关心与不离不弃；感谢牧师的更进；感谢耶稣一直在为我们祷告、守护还有差派不同教会的弟兄姐妹来关心我们，愿颂赞荣耀归给耶稣基督。阿门。
