Announcements
We want to welcome all our guests, brothers, and sisters for joining our Sunday service. Our vision is to be a “disciple-making church among our communities” and there are 3 missions “Discipleship, Community, Missions”. We invite you to join us as we progress toward this goal. We hope that ECF Holy Word will be the place to nurture your spiritual growth!
This coming Thursday evening(8 pm) is our monthly combined prayer meeting. It will be held via both physical (in church) and Zoom (online conference). We will provide the link to each pastoral zones on Wednesday. Please prepare your hearts as we come before God in prayer!
This coming Sunday is the Family Sunday Service (Holy Communion). Brothers and Sisters who participate in online service, please prepare the grape juice and bread before service. After the service, simple refreshments will be arranged so that brothers and sisters can stay and have fellowship.
Our church has scheduled 4 December as our year 2022 second baptism and transfer of membership ceremony. Brothers and sisters who have been attending our church regularly for at least 1 year are welcome to sign up with your group leader or Pastor.
Pastor Andrew will be starting a new season of marriage prep class starting in September. If you are preparing for marriage next year, do register with Pastor Andrew for the class.
This coming Wednesday elderly bible study will be held at 10 am. This week will be changed to fellowship sharing and we are also arranging to have lunch together after the fellowship. Elderlies who are interested in attending are welcome to sign up with Sister Siew Kim.
Prayer Pointers
We thank Lord for His leading in enabling pastoral and ministry leaders in completing the 2023 plan. Next, we will proceed with financial budgeting. Please continue to remember this in your prayers!
为着以下肢体代祷 Congregation prayer concerns:
Please remember in your prayers two elderlies in the community (members of NRCS). They are Liao Si Hu and Cha Mou. Si Hu had foot surgery a year ago and now relies on handrails and a wheelchair to move around. Cha Mou needs to go to the clinic three times a week to have her wounds cleaned because the wounds on her feet could not heal. In addition to their physical needs, please pray for their salvation. Pray for them to receive Lord's salvation soon!
Let us continue to keep Brother Tan Keng Khim, Sister Tan Num Kew, and Sister Sam Kwai Leng in prayer.
