Announcements
We want to welcome all our guests, brothers and sisters for joining our Sunday service. Our vision is to be a “disciple-making church among our communities” and there are 3 missions “Discipleship, Community, Missions”. We invite you to join us as we progress toward this goal. We hope that ECF Holy Word will be the place to nurture your spiritual growth!
On this coming Easter, Sunday is a combined service and we have 3 brothers and sisters baptising. They are Brother Andy Gong, Sister Cui Yu and Sister Xenia Yeoh, please remember them in your prayer. Due to space limitations, please sign up through your cell group if you wish to attend physically.
Our church will hold a Good Friday service on Apr 14 (coming Thursday) at 8 pm via physical and online. Please be prepared to participate!
Our church has scheduled an Old Testament overview course in English and Chinese for April and May respectively. The English course will be taught by Dr Andrew B. Spurgeon and coming Saturday is the 3rd lesson (April 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30). The Chinese course will be taught by Dr Cynthia Chang on May 7, 14, 21, and 28. Both courses will be held on Saturdays from 10 am to 11.30 am via Zoom. Please be on time if you have signed up!
April’s leadership trainings are scheduled as follows: Rev Ng’s class on 21 Apr, Ps Andrew's class on 21 Apr and Sister Kathleen's class on 25 Apr. Training will be conducted via Zoom. Please take note!
We have an elderly Bible study this coming Wednesday at 10 a.m. Please be on time!
Prayer Pointers
In view of current space constraints and the need for ministry expansion, our church leaders had decided to rent a space near the church. Please pray for wisdom for pastors and leaders in making use of the new location.
Please continue to keep the situation in Russia and Ukraine in your prayers. For the leaders of both countries to be led by the Holy Spirit, to know God's truth and peace, to lead their nations towards the path of peace.
Let us continue to keep, Brother Tan Keng Khim, Brother Goh Wee Shin, Sister Sam Kwai Leng and Sister Tan Num Kew in prayer.
