Announcements
We want to welcome all our guests, brothers and sisters for joining our Sunday service. Our vision is to be a “disciple-making church among our communities” and there are 3 missions “Discipleship, Community, Missions”. We invite you to join us as we progress toward this goal. We hope that ECF Holy Word will be the place to nurture your spiritual growth!
This coming Thursday evening(8pm) is our monthly combined prayer meeting. It will be held via both physical (in church) and Zoom (online conference). We will provide the link to each pastoral zones on Wednesday. Please prepare your hearts as we come before God in prayer!
Our church has scheduled Old Testament overview course in English and Chinese for April and May respectively. The English course will be taught by Dr Andrew B. Spurgeon and had already started yesterday (Saturday: April 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30). The Chinese course will be taught by Dr Cynthia Chang on May 7, 14, 21, 28. Both courses will be held on Saturdays from 10am to 11.30am via Zoom. The Zoom link will be sent to you on Friday. Brothers and sisters can sign up through your cell group.
Our church has scheduled Easter Sunday (Apr 17) as our year 2022 first baptism and transfer of membership ceremony. Brother Jeff Tan Wee Choon, Brother Andy Gong, Sister Cui Yu and Sister Xenia Yeoh will be baptising this round, please remember them in your prayers!
Our church will hold Good Friday service on Apr 14 (Thursday) 8pm via physical and online. Please be prepared to participate!
We will resume elderly bible class on this coming Wednesday (Apr 6) at 10am, please take note!
Prayer Pointers
Our Church will be opening up for more gatherings and events in accordance to government’s safety measure guidelines. We look forward that all brothers and sisters will be ready to return to church and participate in physical meetings.
From April 1, the governments of Singapore and Malaysia are allowing travellers who are fully vaccinated to commute via land routes between Singapore and Malaysia without quarantine or testing. Please pray for the safety of the entire opening process.
Pray for congregation prayer concerns:
Brother Goh Wee Shin was transferred to Assisi Hospice last Thursday, where he is receiving treatment and recuperation. Please remember him in your prayer!
Let us continue to keep Brother Tan Keng Khim, Sister Sam Kwai Leng and Sister Tan Num Kew in prayer.
