Welcome to ECF! We are a community of faithful disciples who journey together to worship God and to serve the communities we touch. If you are new among us, we welcome you to journey together as you make ECF Holy Word your family!
Our beloved Sister Choo Choi Har peacefully went to be with the Lord last Tuesday morning. A memorial service was held on Wednesday, followed by her funeral on Thursday. On Saturday, Rev Eng Keng also conducted a final sea burial farewell. Please keep her family in your prayers, asking for God's comfort and the grace of the Gospel to be upon them during this time.
Join us for a fun and meaningful Family Fun Camp in Batam, Indonesia, from 13th to 16th June 2025! It's a great chance to deepen relationships and invite your loved ones to experience our church and the gospel. Save the date and start inviting your Family & Friends. More details are coming soon!
Rev Ng will be starting a basic ukulele class every Wednesday at 11.15 am, beginning 2 Oct (after the Elderly Bible Study). Friends are welcome to join. Interested brothers and sisters can contact Rev Ng for inquiries and registration!
Sunday School is organizing a Children’s Day Celebration on Sunday, 6 Oct, from 9.25am to 12.30pm. It will be a fun-filled morning with activities and a special lunch included. Families and friends (ages 3 to 12 years old) are warmly invited to celebrate together. Please RSVP with Sis Estee to confirm your attendance.
Should you intend to baptise or transfer membership this Christmas, please indicate your intention with your cell leader or zone pastor by the end of September. The baptism class will start in October.
The elderly bible study will be held this Wednesday at 10am. This season, Rev Ng will lead us in learning God's word through bible reading and prayer, please be on time!
Prayer Requests
Let’s pray for the church’s rezoning application with URA. We are currently preparing the application package according to the authorities’ requirements. Pray that we will find favor with the authorities and lean tightly on God in this entire process. We will stay here to finish what God has called us to do where He has placed us.
Let us keep our children who are taking the PSLE in prayer. They are Jared (Nick & Estee’s Son), Gabriel (Vincent & Jana’s Son), Yi Zong (Andy & Cuiyu’s Son), Jia Yang (Zhen Ding & Wei Qin’s Son), Jenelle (Serena’s Grand Daughter), Janna (Serena’s Grand Daughter).

Let us continue to keep Sister Lee Fong Mei, Brother Lock Chee Peng, Brother Goh Hun Sheng, Brother Chong Mook Sang, Brother Tan Keng Khim, Brother Wong Teh Kok and Sister Koh Wee Ching in prayer.
