Announcements
Welcome to ECF! We are a community of faithful disciples who journey together to worship God and to serve the communities we touch. If you are new among us, we welcome you to journey together as you make ECF Holy Word your family!
The Chinese Alpha is happening this afternoon at 2pm in #70 MPH. If you have registered for the Alpha, please be there on time. There are 10 sessions for Alpha, let us also pray for the new friends who are joining us!
This next Thursday 1 August evening (8pm) is our church’s August combined prayer meeting. It will take place in #74 sanctuary. Let’s prepare our hearts to come before God in prayer together!
We kindly ask that you do not bring items (such as electrical appliances, books, furniture, or food) from home to church without prior approval. If you have items that you believe would benefit the church, please contact Sister Siew Cheng for evaluation. Only after receiving approval from our pastors should you bring the items to church. This process helps us maintain the church’s tidiness and organization. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
The elderly bible study will be held this Wednesday at 10am. This season, Rev Ng will lead us in learning God's word through bible reading and prayer, please be on time!
Prayer Requests
Let’s pray for the church’s rezoning application with URA. We are currently preparing for the application package according to the authorities’ requirements. Pray that we will find favor with the authorities and lean tightly on God in this entire process. We will stay here to finish what God has called us to do in where He has placed us.
Sister Wong Ping Khan is recently suffering from leg pain and has caused some mobility issues. Please keep her in our prayers.
Let’s continue to keep Sister Lee Fong Mei’s (Grace) chemotherapy in prayer. We ask that God keep the side effects to the lowest and that she will have peace through the treatment season.
Congregation prayer concerns:
Let us continue to keep Brother Goh Hun Sheng, Brother Chong Mook Sang, Brother Tan Keng Khim, Brother Wong Teh Kok and Sister Koh Wee Ching in prayer.
