Announcements
We want to welcome all our guests, brothers, and sisters for joining our Sunday service. Our vision is to be a “disciple-making church among our communities”. We invite you to join us as we progress toward this goal. We hope that ECF Holy Word will be the place to nurture your spiritual growth!
For last week’s Chinese service, there were 29 attendees in church (including the speaker and those on duty) and 64 online viewing points. And for English service, there were 31 attendees in church (including speaker and those on duty) and 14 online viewing points.
Due to the recent increase in the COVID-19 outbreak, the church leaders have decided to stop the physical worship services for the next two weeks (19/9 & 26/9) for the safety of everyone and to conduct them online only. Please note!
We want to welcome Sister Oh Siew Cheng, who has joined us full-time as Church Manager. Her main scope is managing Church operations & admin staff, finance, facilities, supporting our Pastoral Team, GC & DC. Our beloved Sister Hsu Lily has also confirmed that she will step down as our full-time Church Administrator end of this year. We want to thank her for her 14 years of faithful service.
The church has scheduled 3 Oct as the Church Combine Family Day. The theme is "Where We Truly Belong". After the worship service, from 11am to 12.30pm, we will have a family day activity through Zoom, an online platform. Brothers and sisters who do not have access to the internet can come to the church and participate in the event. We also welcome your family members to join us. You can register for free starting today by going to the church website or filling out the registration form!
The church is scheduled to conduct the re-election of the new General Council and Deacon Council on 10 October. Due to the pandemic, the election will be by postal ballot. The church will mail the election ballot ticket to your home next week. If you have changed your address, please notify Sister Lily or your cell group leader in the next few days. Please remember the re-election in your prayers.
Due to the recent increase in the number of COVID19 cases, we will continue to suspend the coming Wednesday Senior Bible study until further notice.

May the Lord grant them a godly and loving heart to serve Him and the church!
According to the World Health Organization, as of 14 September, more than 5.63 billion people worldwide have been vaccinated. Please pray for the entire vaccination process to go smoothly.
The pandemic in Singapore has been on the rise recently. As reported by the Ministry of Health on 16 September, there are 837 cases hospitalized, including 12 people in intensive care units. Please continue to pray for the COVID19 pandemic situation in Singapore.
Please continue to remember Reverend Ruth Ho in your prayers. In addition to high vitamin injections, she has just started Bioresonance therapy twice a week. Please pray for her two main therapies.
