Announcements

We want to welcome all our guests, brothers and sisters for joining our Sunday service. Our vision is to be a “disciple-making church among our communities” and there are 3 missions “Discipleship, Community, Missions”. We invite you to join us as we progress toward this goal. We hope that ECF Holy Word will be the place to nurture your spiritual growth!

1. Our church has scheduled 4 December as our year 2022 second baptism and transfer of membership ceremony. Brothers and sisters who have been attending our church regularly for at least 1 year are welcome to sign up with your group leader or Pastor.

2. Our Church General Council will meet on this coming Wednesday at 8p.m. The meeting will be attended by the Advisory Board, General Council members and pastors. The location is at No.70. Please be on time!

3. July’s Alpha course for various pastoral zones/groups are as follow, please invite your friends:

   (1) Joseph Pastoral Zone (Grace Gan)

   - Sec.4 to Polytechnic / Time: Saturday, 5pm-6.30pm / Venue: Quartz

   - Pri. 6 to Sec. 1 / Time: Sunday, 9.30am-11am / Venue:70

   (2) Nehemiah Pastoral Zone (Timothy Chen)

   - Time: Friday, 7pm-10pm / Venue: Quartz

   (3) Isaac Pastoral Zone

   - Joshua Group / Time: Sunday, 11.15am-12.45pm / Venue: Quartz (Patrick Tay)

   - Chan/Lee Group / Time: Friday, 9pm-10.15pm / Venue: Online & Physical (Chan Hiang Chye/Kathleen Lee)

   - Isaac Group / Time: Sunday, 11.15am-12.45pm / Venue: 74, 2nd floor (Teo Giok Lai/Seow Gek Cheng)

4. Pastor Andrew will be starting a new season of marriage prep class starting in September. If you are preparing for marriage next year, do register with Pastor Andrew for the class.

5. This coming Wednesday elderly bible study will be held at 10:00am. Rev Ng will start a new theme on The Story of Creation, so be on time!

   Prayer Pointers

1. We thank Lord for leading our pastoral zone and ministry leaders in the review and planning meeting last Monday. The entire plan for 2023 has basically completed. The pastors will now embark the final consolidation and revision phase. Pray that our Lord will guide the pastors and give them wisdom to make the final editing.

2. 为着以下肢体代祷 Congregation prayer concerns：

   1. Please remember in your prayers the recent developments of the outbreak. This wave is more contagious and faster, the number of people infected is on the rise. There are many brothers and sisters in church who are infected. Pray that the whole outbreak will be brought under control and may those who are infected will recover soon!!

   2. Let us continue to keep Brother Tan Keng Khim, Sister Tan Num Kew and Sister Sam Kwai Leng in prayer.
