Announcements

Welcome to ECF! We are a community of faithful disciples who journey together to worship God and serve the communities we touch. If you are new among us, we welcome you to journey together as you make the ECF Holy Word your family!

  1. Our beloved sister Lim Hoon Tin (brother Wong Teh Kok’s mother) went home to be with the Lord on 11 Jun at the age of 98 years old. The funeral was held last Thursday. Please remember the bereaved family in your prayers.

  2. The church silent retreat is happening later at 5pm. Please meet at 5pm in #74 sanctuary later if you have registered for the silent retreat. See you all later!

  3. Our churchwide planning retreat for 2025 church year is happening on 8 Aug (9am-5pm) and 24 Aug (9am-12pm). Pastoral and matrix ministry leaders are reminded to reserve their time to attend. As 8 Aug is a work day, please arrange your work schedule and take leave for this retreat early to ensure minimal disruption.

  4. We are inviting a gospel singer (sister Wen Bi Er) to share with us on 20 July (Saturday) at 10am. She will be sharing many gospel songs and her testimony with us. Let us invite your friends to attend together!

  5. Alpha season is coming! Let’s continue to invite our family and friends for Alpha introduction dinner on 22 June (5pm-7pm)!

  6. The elderly bible study will be held this Wednesday at 10am. This season, Rev Ng will lead us in learning God's word through bible reading and prayer, please be on time!

    Prayer Requests

  1. Seven leaders from Joseph Pastoral Zone (Youth) will be having a 3 day Leadership Retreat at Sekincha(Malaysia) from tomorrow to Wednesday. Pray that the Lord will raise up our young leaders to be the best soldiers of Christ and to follow and serve Him throughout their lives!

  2. Our Chiang Rai mission team has returned safely from their mission trip. We give thanks for the work God is doing through them in Chiang Rai!

    Congregation prayer concerns:

    1. Let’s keep brother Goh Hun Sheng in our prayers. He recently fell in his home and hurt his leg. He has since undergone surgery and is currently recovering in St Andrew’s Community Hospital.

    2. Brother Tan Wen Chen fell at his daughter's house on Wednesday and suffered a fracture in his left foot. He was operated on the same day and is currently receiving treatment and recuperating at Tan Tock Seng Hospital.
