Announcements
We want to welcome all our guests, brothers and sisters for joining our Sunday service. Our vision is to be a “disciple-making church among our communities” and there are 3 missions “Discipleship, Community, Missions”. We invite you to join us as we progress toward this goal. We hope that ECF Holy Word will be the place to nurture your spiritual growth!
Our church pastor call for a pastoral leader gathering on this coming Wednesday (October 18) at 8pm. All General Council members, Deacon Council members and pastoral cell leaders are requested to be on time. The gathering will take place in Service Hall at #74.
The 25th Anniversary Thanksgiving Service of Johor Bahru Kailer Christian Church will be held on this coming Saturday (October 21st)! Brothers and sisters who are taking the transportation arranged by our church are requested to arrive at the church at 8.45am on that day and we will leave at 9am sharp. The Service will start at 12 noon. Brothers and Sisters who are going on your own, please take note!
This year's Community Christmas Celebration will be held on December 16 (Saturday), organized by Potong Pasir Community Club. The venue will be at the Community Club located in Woodleigh Mall. We will also be involved in the presentation of the program. This is a major community event for the church, all brothers and sisters are requested to set aside time to participate!
Children Sunday School is organising 3 activities this quarter. A "Post-Exam BBQ" on 5th Nov (Sun) - 4pm to 9pm, our annual "ECF Kids Camp" on 8th Dec (Fri) - 9am to 5pm and lastly "Christmas @ Sunday School" on 24th Dec (Sun) 9.30am to 11.30am. Do RSVP with Sunday School and encourage your family & friends to join in too! They are also looking at recruiting volunteers for the Kids Camp!
Our church will publish an end-of-year thanksgiving magazine this Christmas. In addition to the sharing of pastors, leaders and ministries, we also hope to collect testimonies of thanksgiving from brothers and sisters. Please submit your testimonies to your cell leader or pastor by 15th of October at the latest.
Elderly bible study will be held on Wednesday at 10am. Please join us!

Please pray for the recent conflict between Israel and Palestine. This war has resulted in the loss of many lives. Pray for the Lord to intervene so that both sides can calm down and bring this battle to an early and peaceful end!
