Announcements
We want to welcome all our guests, brothers, and sisters to join our Sunday service. Our vision is to be a “disciple-making church among our communities” and there are 3 missions “Discipleship, Community, Missions”. We invite you to join us as we progress toward this goal. We hope that ECF Holy Word will be the place to nurture your spiritual growth!
The pastors will hold a pastoral leadership meeting this coming Wednesday (May 17) at 8 pm at the church. All General Council members, Deacon Council members and Cell Group leaders kindly be on time.
The Christian Education program scheduled to begin in May will be conducted using an online self-learning platform. The platform will be officially launched on May 21. More details will be announced in the near future.
Pastor Yang Lili will be staying in the church's guest room at #72 from May 12 to May 28. She will return to her country on May 28 to begin her ministry. Please remember her in your prayers!
The church is organising a mission trip to Chiangmai, Thailand from the 16th-23rd of September 2023. The main focus of the mission trip is to serve the children in the community through fun learning sessions and visiting the local families. Those who are interested in the mission trip can indicate your interest with Rev Andrew.
This June 16-19 (Friday-Monday), the church will be holding a church retreat at the Grand Paragon Hotel in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. If you have not yet registered, please sign up/pay fee at the counter after the service!
Elderly bible study will be held on Wednesday at 10am. Please join us!
Prayer Pointers
Singapore Bible College just held its graduation ceremony last Friday. Please pray for the graduating class, that they may be God's mighty army, entering this vast harvest field to win people for the Lord and to glorify God!

(1)Please remember in your prayers Sister Serene Sim, mother of Brother Russell Siew. Due to the deterioration of her condition, she was transferred to Assisi Hospice last Thursday and is recuperating there. Please pray for Brother Russell Siew and ask the Lord to give him strength to take care of his mother!
(2)Brother Chan Li Wen (Sister Chiu Fong Har's husband) passed away at 3am on Saturday. Please remember the bereaved family in your prayers and ask for God's comfort and peace among them!
(3) Let us continue to keep Brother Tan Keng Khim, Brother Wong Teh Kok and Sister Sam Kwai Leng in prayer.
