Welcome to ECF! We are a community of faithful disciples who journey together to worship God and to serve the communities we touch. If you are new among us, we welcome you to journey together as you make ECF Holy Word your family!
Pastor Lynn Chong will be conducting course on “Inductive Bible Study” for our church’s pastoral leaders this coming Wednesday 17/Jan (Wed) at 8pm in church (#74). Pastoral leaders who are invited to attend this course are kindly reminded to be present.
Our dear sister Xenia, second daughter of brother Yeoh Seow Ling Andrew and sister Choo Lin Chee is getting married on 27 Jan! Let’s join the church in blessing the family in this joyous occasion!
We will be extending the submission of the giving pledge for 2024 till next Sunday 21/Jan as most have not submitted their pledge yet. Please assist to submit your pledge if you have not done so.
Should you intend to baptise or transfer membership this Easter, please indicate your intention with your cell leader or zone pastor by 27/Jan (Sunday). Baptism class will start in February.
Have you started following our church’s bible reading plan? Check off your reading in the bible reading plan booklet and get an encouragement prize every quarter for following through!
The elderly bible study will be held this Wednesday at 10am. Rev Ng will lead the class on the book of Joshua – Living in Canaan.
Prayer Request
为着以下肢体代祷 Congregation prayer concerns：
(1) Let’s continue to keep Brother Chong Mook Sang’s health in prayers as he is still currently very weak physically. May the Lord’s healing be upon him and grant him strength to recover. Also, pray for God’s strength to be with our sister Esther as she takes care of brother Mook Sang in this challenging period.
(2) Let keep sister Sally Lim’s family in prayers: Heng Teng (brother) – lung cancer, currently receiving oral treatment, Heng Zi (brother) – liver cancer, currently receiving targeted treatment, Feng An (brother-in-law) – early stage prostate cancer, receiving surgery on 15/01. Pray especially for their salvation, that the Lord will open their hearts to receive the gospel!
(3) Let us continue to keep Brother Wong Teh Kok, Brother Tan Keng Khim, Brother Tan How Boon, Brother Steven Lim Heok Theu, Sister Koh Wee Ching and Sister Chong Ah Moi in prayer.
