We want to welcome all our guests, brothers, and sisters to join our Sunday service. Our vision is to be a “disciple-making church among our communities” and there are 3 missions “Discipleship, Community, Missions”. We invite you to join us as we progress toward this goal. We hope that ECF Holy Word will be the place to nurture your spiritual growth!
The church is organising an Easter community visiting our friends in Bidadari on the 31st of March at 7 pm. We hope to know our Bidadari neighbours better and also introduce our church to them. We will also conduct a training on the 18th of March (Saturday) from 5 pm to 6.30 pm in the church. Please register with your cell group leader to participate. This June 16-19 (Friday-Monday), the church will hold a church retreat at the Grand Paragon Hotel in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. Brothers and sisters can sign up from today onwards through your cell group or at the counter after the Sunday service. Fee details are listed on the registration form, kindly register one name per form. You may submit the form to the registration counter today (fees to be paid later)!
Rev Ng will be moving to his new home at Joo Seng Blk 9 on 14 March. Therefore, for any group that will be coming to church on weekdays, especially after 5 pm, cell group leaders please make sure to notify Sister Siew Cheng in advance.
Rev Ng will be on leave from Tuesday to Thursday for a new home move. Rev Andrew will also be on leave from Tuesday to Friday to go on vacation with Sister Evon in Malaysia. This is just to inform our brothers and sisters.
Elderly bible study will take a break this coming Wednesday as Rev Ng will be moving to his new home. Please take note!
Prayer Pointers
Please continue to pray for the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria. According to World Bank estimates, the earthquake caused more than $30 billion in direct damage in Turkey alone and left more than 1.25 million people homeless.
Continue to pray for the "Project Canaan" of the church. Pray for wisdom for pastors and leaders to know God's heart and to lead brothers and sisters to follow God's lead with faith. Let us pray and seek God's guidance with one heart and one mind!
Let us continue to keep, Brother Chan Li Wen, Brother Tan Keng Khim, Sister Sam Kwai Leng and Sister Kamisah in prayer.
