Announcements

Welcome to ECF Holy Word Church! Our theme this year is “Break Walls, Build Bridges,” as we seek to deepen connections with God and each other, sharing His love and hope. Whether you’re visiting for the first time or have been with us for years, we invite you to join us on this spiritual journey!

  1. As several brothers and sisters have been moved to be baptized in December, we have decided to consolidate all baptisms and membership transfers to December, allowing us to celebrate this significant spiritual milestone together. We look forward to witnessing their baptism together in December!

  2. The church’s specially printed Chinese New Year Ang Pow packets will arrive this week and will be distributed next Sunday. These packets are designed not only to convey blessings but also to offer an opportunity to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with your family and friends. May this festive season be a wonderful time to share Christ’s love and hope! We encourage you to collect these packets as needed and give a freewill offering as you feel led.

  3. The Chinese session for the combined cell group study on the background of the book of Acts will take place today, 12th January, at 11.30am, following the Chinese service, in the Multi-Purpose Hall at #70.

  4. There will be a pre-study session for the Acts Bible Study specifically for cell leaders. This pre-study will cover sessions 1-3 of the upcoming Bible study. Attendance is compulsory for all cell leaders. The pre-study for English language cells will take place on 15th January 2025 (Wed) at 8pm via Zoom.

  5. The elderly Bible study will be held this Wednesday at 10am. This season, Rev. Ng will share from the Book of Proverbs under the theme “A Life of Wisdom.” Join us!

    Prayer Requests

  1. As we step into the new year, let us reflect with gratitude on God’s grace in the past and move forward with confidence in His faithfulness. Through every season, God’s great love and faithfulness have guided us, and through Jesus Christ incarnate, He has given us hope to break down barriers and build connections. In this new year, may we continue to grow in His grace, break walls in relationships, and build bridges of love and truth to share this hopeful message with many more!

  2. May the Lord grant favour for URA to approve our rezoning application, and may this place be given to us as a base to bless the communities.

    Congregation prayer concerns:

Let us continue to keep Sister Lee Fong Mei, Brother Goh Hun Sheng, Brother Tan Keng Khim, Brother Wong Teh Kok and Sister Koh Wee Ching in prayer.
