We want to welcome all our guests, brothers, and sisters for joining our Sunday service. Our vision is to be a “disciple-making church among our communities”. We invite you to join us as we progress toward this goal. We hope that ECF Holy Word will be the place to nurture your spiritual growth!
Last week there were 77 online viewing points for the Chinese service and 28 online viewing points for the English service. There were 4 attendees in the physical worship services, including speakers, pastors, and ministry volunteers.
Thanks to the Lord, the re-election of the church's General Council and Deacon Council was successfully completed last week. The church received a total of 115 ballots, of which 29 were considered invalid and 86 valid. The results of the voting were that the two candidates for the General Council and the seven candidates for the Deacon Council were elected with over 93% of the votes to be the leaders of the church for the year 2022-2023. Once again, thank you all for your prayer and participation.
The deacons' meeting will be held online Zoom today (17 Oct) at 2 pm. Deacons to attend on time!
Due to the recent increase in the COVID19 outbreak, the church leaders have decided to stop the physical worship services for the safety of everyone and to conduct them online only until the end of October. Please note!
Due to the recent increase in COVID19 cases, we will continue to suspend the coming Wednesday Senior Bible study until further notice.
The church has scheduled 5 Dec as the church's baptism celebration day. If any brothers or sisters would like to be baptized or transfer church membership, please check with the pastors.

Members of the General Council are Brother Sunny Leong and Brother Joseph Loh. Members of the Deacon Council are Brother Daniel Xu, Brother Ho Kang Hao, Brother Timothy Chen, Brother Nicholas Ng, Brother Noel Yu, Brother Nick Lim, and Sister Dorothy Lim. Pray that they would all have a humble heart to serve the Lord’s church.
Pray for the COVID19 pandemic：
According to the World Health Organization, as of 13 October, more than 6.49 billion people worldwide have been vaccinated. Please pray for the entire vaccination process to go smoothly.
The pandemic in Singapore has been on the rise recently. According to the Ministry of Health, there were 2932 cases on 14 Oct alone, of which 436 were elderly people over 60 years old. There are currently 1,511 cases hospitalized, with 46 of them in intensive care units. Please continue to remember in your prayers, especially those elderly patients over 60 years old, and ask the Lord for mercy and healing so that they will have early recovery.

Please continue to remember Reverend Ruth Ho in your prayers. Pray that a doctor can be found who can administer high vitamins. There is a nurse helping for now. Reverend Ruth’s ultrasound report is also not available because the clinic is not open after the passing of the doctor. Nevertheless, her appetite has improved recently due to the bio-resonance therapy.
Let us continue to keep Brother Goh Wee Shin, Brother Tan Keng Khim, Sister Lim Yoke Hong, Sister Yue Soon Lin, and Sister Sam Kwai Leng in prayer.
