Announcements
Welcome to ECF! We are a community of faithful disciples who journey together to worship God and serve the communities we touch. If you are new among us, we welcome you to journey together as you make the ECF Holy Word your family!
The church is organizing a silent retreat on coming Sunday 16 Jun (5pm-10pm), indicate your participation in your cell group chats.
Our churchwide planning retreat for 2025 church year is happening on 8 Aug (9am-5pm) and 24 Aug (9am-12pm). Pastoral and matrix ministry leaders are reminded to reserve their time to attend. As 8 Aug is working day, please arrange your work schedule and take leave for this retreat early to ensure minimal disruption.
We are inviting a gospel singer (sister Wen Bi Er) to share with us on 20 July (Saturday) at 10am in the morning. She will be sharing many gospel songs and her testimony with us. Let us invite your friends to attend together!
Alpha season is coming! Let’s start to invite our family and friends for Alpha introduction dinner on 22 June (5pm-7pm)!
The elderly bible study will be held this Wednesday at 10am. This season, Rev Ng will lead us in learning God's word through bible reading and prayer, please be on time!
Prayer Requests
Let’s keep our Thailand Chiang Rai mission team in prayer. We ask God to protect their way and that through their trip bring God’s heavenly blessings to the local people.
The Alpha season is coming and there will be many events happening in preparation for the Alpha season. Let’s pray for wisdom and strength as the Alpha committee plans and execute Alpha this year. We also pray that the hearts of our family and friends whom we are inviting to Alpha be open to accept our invitation.
Congregation prayer concerns:
Let’s keep brother Goh Hun Sheng in our prayers. He recently fell in his home and hurt his leg. He has since undergone surgery and is currently recovering in St Andrew’s Community Hospital.
Brother Tan Wen Chen fell at his daughter's house on Wednesday and suffered a fracture in his left foot. He was operated on the same day and is currently receiving treatment and recuperating at Tan Tock Seng Hospital.
Let us continue to keep Brother Lock Chee Peng, Brother Chong Mook Sang, Brother Tan Keng Khim, Brother Steven Lim Heok Theu, Brother Wong Teh Kok and Sister Koh Wee Ching in prayer.
