We want to welcome all our guests, brothers and sisters for joining our Sunday service. Our vision is to be a “disciple-making church among our communities” and there are 3 missions “Discipleship, Community, Missions”. We invite you to join us as we progress toward this goal. We hope that ECF's Holy Word will be the place to nurture your spiritual growth!
General Council will be having a meeting on this coming Thursday (10 Mar) at 8:00 pm. The agenda of the meeting is to discuss the establishment of the "Trust Fund". Meeting will be held via Zoom, members of General Council please be on time!
March leadership trainings are scheduled as follow: Rev Ng’s class on 17 Mar, Ps Andrew's class on 24 Mar and Sister Kathleen's class on 14 and 28 Mar. Training will be conducted via Zoom. Please take note!
Our church has scheduled an Old Testament overview course in English and Chinese for April and May respectively. The English course dates are April 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30 (five lessons). The Chinese course dates are May 7, 14, 21, 28 (4 lessons). Both courses are conducted via Zoom. Brothers and sisters can sign up through your cell group from today onwards.
Our church has scheduled Easter Sunday (17 Apr) as our year 2022 first baptism and transfer of membership ceremony. Brothers and sisters who have been attending our church regularly for at least 1 year are welcome to sign up with your group leader or Pastor.
Due to the recent increase and instability of the epidemic, Bible Study on Wednesday will be postponed until the epidemic has stabilized!
Prayer Pointers
In addition to the pastoral care and shepherding of the church, we also have cell leaders in different pastoral zones who are responsible for shepherding the members of their cell groups. Pray that the leaders will have the love from God to care for and shepherd their group members.
Please remember in your prayers the situation in Russia and Ukraine. Many lives have been lost as a result of the conflict and the sending of troops to each other. Pray that our mighty God will intervene in their midst so that the conflict can be reconciled soon.
Pray for congregation prayer concerns:
Please remember Brother Goh Wee Shin in your prayers. He was taken to the hospital last week due to unwell. He is still in the hospital for observation and treatment.
Let us continue to keep Brother Tan Keng Khim, Sister Sam Kwai Leng and Sister Tan Num Kew in prayer.
