Announcements
We want to welcome all our guests, brothers and sisters for joining our Sunday service. Our vision is to be a “disciple-making church among our communities” and there are 3 missions “Discipleship, Community, Missions”. We invite you to join us as we progress toward this goal. We hope that ECF Holy Word will be the place to nurture your spiritual growth!
A total of 86 qualified members voted in last week's leaders election, with 6 void votes. All candidates received a majority of affirmative votes (86% or more) and were elected to serve as General Council and Deacon Council members for the term 2024-2025. The inauguration service will be held on December 31 during the Sunday Service.
Today, after the service at 11.30am, the church has organized an English seminar on "Wills and Estate Planning" at #70 MPH, brothers and sisters are welcome to attend!
Coming Thursday at 8pm will be the last prayer meeting of the church for the year. Brothers and sisters are welcome to attend to reminisce God's leading in 2023 and offer our thanksgiving!
Children Sunday School is organising activities this quarter. Firstly, our annual "ECF Kids Camp" on 8th Dec (Fri) - 9am to 5pm and secondly, "Christmas @ Sunday School" on 24th Dec (Sun) 9.30am to 11.30am. Do RSVP with Sunday School and encourage your family & friends to join in too! They are also looking at recruiting volunteers for the Kids Camp! You may reach out to Children Ministry for more info.

Prayer Request
The church have several major matters in the near future, brothers and sisters please pray for:
Brother Steven Lim Heok Theu underwent a health screening the other day. He was found to have blood in his stool, and after further tests, he was diagnosed with stage 2 colon cancer. He will undergo an operation at the hospital tomorrow to remove part of his colon (the cancerous part). Please keep him in your prayers!
A few weeks ago, Sister Chong Ah Moi had a fall at home and broke her left ankle. She is currently undergoing treatment and recuperation at Singapore General Hospital. Please remember her in your prayers!
We thank the Lord that Brother Tan How Boon was discharged from the hospital last Wednesday and returned home to recuperate. Please continue to remember him in prayer for his physical recovery!
Let us continue to keep Brother Wong Teh Kok, Brother Tan Keng Khim, Brother Chong Mook Sang and Sister Koh Wee Ching in prayer.
