We want to welcome all our guests, brothers, and sisters for joining our Sunday service. Our vision is to be a “disciple-making church among our communities” and there are 3 missions “Discipleship, Community, Missions”. We invite you to join us as we progress toward this goal. We hope that ECF Holy Word will be the place to nurture your spiritual growth!
Our monthly combined prayer meeting is this Thursday evening(8 pm). It will be held via both physical (in church) and Zoom (online conference). We will provide the link to each pastoral zones on Wednesday. Please prepare your hearts as we come before God in prayer!
Chinese Christian Mission will hold a 45th Anniversary Thanksgiving Celebration on October 18 (Tuesday) at 8 pm at Thomson Baptist Church. Brothers and sisters are welcome to attend and celebrate Lord's grace together!
Our church has scheduled a New Testament overview course in English and Chinese for October and November respectively. The English course will be taught by Dr Andrew B. Spurgeon on October 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29 (five classes). The Chinese course will be taught by Mrs Lee-Yeung Kam Lan on November 5, 12, 19, and 26 (4 classes). Both courses will be held on Saturdays from 10 am to 11.30 am via Zoom. Brothers and sisters can sign up through your cell group from today onwards.
This year December 17-19 (Sat-Mon), our church will be having a retreat for youths and young adults. In line with this year’s church theme—A Treasured Being, “Chosen” will be our retreat theme. This retreat is open to everyone in the Joseph Pastoral Zone. So, let’s pause our busy lives to meditate on our identity and values in Christ. Let’s be recharged and refreshed to serve God!

Our church's Elderly Pastoral Zone has arranged a day trip to Muar (Malaysia) on Wednesday, 2nd November. Brothers and sisters who are interested can contact Rev Ng for more information. The registration ends on October 2. This coming Wednesday, there will be bible study at 10 am, as usual, please be on time!
Sunday School will be having a Children's Day celebration on 9 October 2022, Sunday, 9.30 am to 12 pm at #70 basement. Lunch will be provided at 11 am. It will be a morning of games and activities! Do invite your family and friends! Open to children aged 4 to 11 years old.
Prayer Pointers
Please continue to remember in your prayers the war between Russia and Ukraine. The war between the two countries has been going on for seven months and there is no sign of a truce. This war has caused many casualties and financial losses till date.
